Scott Johnson Sophomore Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Mount Carmel High School Chicago, IL
I have coached since 2005, and have been a believer in option football since my playing days at Mount Carmel. While we run the split back veer at MC, I learned the flexbone while working for Mark Kleinpeter in 2012. I am a Social Studies teacher at another Chicago area high school.

Mike Morrissey Head Coach/OC Cedar Rapids Prairie High School Cedar Rapids, IA
Physical Education Teacher and also Assistant Track and Field Coach (sprinters). We are currently a spread, no huddle team using mostly zone concepts. I have been interested in learning more about the flexbone for a long time and have been fortunate enough to get some insight from Scott Johnson. Looking forward to learning more about the offense.

Scott Hansen DB Coach/Punt Coordinator Hinsdale South High School (Darien, IL)
I worked with KP 2 seasons ago, my first with the Flexbone. I am anticipating transitioning back to offense as QB Coach/Passing Game Coordinator. We run the Spread Pistol at South but have many Flexbone concepts (IV, Midline, etc.). Our offense is similar to what Ferris State runs.

Scott Boswell Head Football Coach - Burkburnett HS Offensive Line
I have been coaching for 21 years and have been at Burkburnett since 1999. I help with power lifting and the throwers in track. I have coached different versions of flexbone option football for over 10 years. I love this offense and wholeheartedly believe in it. I look forward to learning from everyone on this board.

1st introduced and started to learn flex bone option football from Paul Lanier, I coached with Paul for 2 years at Sam Houston HS in Lake Charles before he retired from Louisiana coaching and moved to Texas; Paul was a long time option coach before I went to work with him; We learned & implemented a version of the flex bone that we learned from Emory Bellard as he was retiring from coaching. Paul is currently head football coach at Clear Brook HS in Houston Texas.

Steve Gunther, coached the last 25 years in Texas. Wife's family (Mother and Sister) live in Dubuque, Iowa. We retired and moved to Dubuque. My wife wanted to be close to her mother. I am orginally from Iowa, so the cold and snow haven't bothered me to much.
I've coached in Iowa, Colorado, Kansas and Texas. I had the opportunity to coach for Emory Bellard in Houston. I have a website called optionfootball-publishing.net! I have written a Flexbone Book using Coach Bellards option concepts.
I've had a chance to know Paul Lanier (Clear Brook HS, Houston) and Scott Dieterich (Parkview Baptist, Baton Rouge).

Jeremy Reed, AD/Head Football, Altus, OK (5A) Just recently accepted this position after being at Dickson (3A) for previous three years. Last winter I found Kenny Wheaton and become a disciple of his! I have been spread offensive guy my whole life. Had great success as a player and a coach in the spread. Was at a point last off season I knew I had to change to give my kids at Dickson the best chance. We sold out to Kenny's way 100%. Resulted in one of the best seasons in school history, only the 6th time ever to win over 5 games. We finished just shy of 2900 yards thru 10 games and finished 6-4, started 6-0 which was best start in school history. I am 100% sold out to the flex and Kenny Wheaton. I have moved to a 5A school who has great personnel for the flex, I'm looking forward to spring ball!!
Also encourage everyone to checkout 3D Coaching through FCA. Biggest game changer out there for your program. Find free videos at okfca.org
