We are researching mid triple this off-season and one of the coaches from Colerain H.S., I think out of Ohio is speaking on it. Otherwise going to hear option guys talk and pick up anything we can to make our program better. Kenny Wheaton's the best in the business boys, especially with the Mid Triple play. It's probably the easiest play that we block, option-wise. The big thing is timing and technique of QB/B/A's. Inside Veer and Mid Triple is a hard combination for people to stop.

Wonder if Kenny would consider putting together some cutups of mid-triple for film study, including the different tags vs the different fronts?

I will slap some stuff together and it'll be the next blog topic after I finish the Toss one.

It was good. It started out Friday night with Lou Cella going over triple out of the flex formation against every conceivable front and how to count it all out using 1-4 which I found interesting. Then the head coach from SUNY Maritime talk about triple play action passing. I like the Slot Pop Pass as you only have to tread the PSLB. Saturday 2 high school coaches from PA and 1 from Ohio spoke. I enjoyed the presentation on play action off of toss it was very good. He coach from McKeesport was very good, old school and hilarious but very thorough. All in all it was a good clinic. My DC got to get some new ideas about defending the wing-t also.
