Men just kinda taking an opinion poll on this:
I was always a little intrigued by the national wing-T clinic (not sure if this still goes on or not) - it kinda felt like they had their own cult thing goin on there! Lol
i know many of you guys do a lot of talking and visiting this time of year to gather new info and answers to problems. How feasible would it be to try and get a group of guys together and try to organize something like this? I will list a couple of ideas/thoughts, please feel free to add to it positively or negatively - maybe I just have a little too much "idle" time right now to think of stuff like this but I would love to get all or most of the " true flexboners" in one place at one time!
1-location? Possibly in the middle of the country to make it as convenient as possible. St. Louis or somewhere like that.
2-time of year - maybe summer to avoid 2nd sport conflicts, spring ball conflicts as well as recruiting and the heavy 'clinic' season
3-how to fund it/pay for speakers etc. sponsors, registration costs etc? I suck at this?
please any thoughts or ideas!

I'm having a hard enough time to try to get in touch with you to set up a local flexbone clinic and now you want to run a national one...lol.
We do need to pick a date for our local get-together. Salt's been asking me about it.

Are there any good flexbone clinics out there?? If not, does anyone know of any good Flexbone teams in the state of Illinois or Wisconsin? I"m familiar with a few in Illinois, but I wanted to see if there were some that I was missing. Thanks!

I would like the idea of a national option clinic. I think you could get enough speakers to cover all the formations, Flexbone, I, wishbone, anyway my staff would attend. To further these ideas, can someone point me in a direction where I can watch flexbone cut ups. I am a film study guy and would love to find a way to study some film of other option teams besides my own. Anybody have film they can send me through HUDL or Mark can we find a way to put film up through the forum. I would really like to study mid- triple with all the tags. That is our offseason study this year.

A National clinic would be nice, but the tough thing about a clinic is balancing costs with attendance. You've got to get enough people there to pay for the speakers and their travel. That's always been my concern when trying to put something together. I can't front all the $$$ to get guys to come speak and then not get enough people there to pay for costs. I'm also not the best guy at hustling up sponsors, etc.
The one nice thing I think about having it in New Orleans is that most people would probably really like to attend a clinic in New Orleans, especially in Jan-Feb.
Matt, I will look into the film deal and see what we can do to post video and/or create an exchange section. Good idea.

New Orleans clinic is fine with us. I would prefer to have it around jazz fest!! I'm with you on balancing cost vs attendance but I think if you could get enough guys involved to help find local and national sponsors you could make a go of it.

Glazier Clinic in Chicago March 6-8 has a flexbone speaker and a defensive coach speaking on defending the flexbone. My offensive staff and I will be there.

A bunch of our staff members are going up, but sadly my wife will be out of town that weekend and I'm home with the kids.

I am going up to the Mesh Point Option/Wing-T clinic next weekend in Lancaster PA. Unless I have missed something, this is the closet option clinic to us in VA. We are then heading up to Navy on the 27th, anybody need anything from either of those stops?

We start Spring Ball on May 1st and finish on May 14th (Spring game against another team). If anybody is interested in coming down for practice you're more than welcome. Jazz Fest dates are Apr 24-May 3 coincidentally. We could definitely do an informal National Flexbone Clinic if anyone does come down to visit. Our Spring Dates are: May 1, 2 May 4, 5, 6 May 8, 9 (intrasquad scrimmage) May 11, 13, 14 (spring game vs John Ehret)

Did anyone go to the 2015 Mesh Point clinic this year. What were the topics and who gave a good presentation?

We are researching mid triple this off-season and one of the coaches from Colerain H.S., I think out of Ohio is speaking on it. Otherwise going to hear option guys talk and pick up anything we can to make our program better.

Well I was curious just because if anyone presents something good, it is always good to have a new resource.
