I'm a new assistant coach that is installing the Flexbone in a school that has become a dreg despite dropping classification twice.
I am looking for input and constructive criticism of blending the Pulaski Academy-galvanized praxis of "Fuck Punting" with the under-center, spread set.
The blending here denotes cross-training A-backs to perform check-with-me, rugby-style punts once receiving a deeply modified rocket-toss on 4th-&-7-plus situation.
The thought here, other than getting fired due to superfluous concepts, is relegating an opposing defense to vanilla calls on subjectively stressful situations wherein a worst-case scenario (e.g., cloud coverage with the corner and safety filling fast for a potential punt block) is countered with practiced "fire" routes by the playside A-back and split-end ---while remaining committed to the normal contingencies set by the defense so as to convert on 4th down.
It's a lot, I know.
We're working on this with directional kicking via right- and left-footed A-backs to determine if it is viable come Spring.
Your thoughts are appreciated.

I think it is bad ass in theory, but might be a cluster and very expensive to get right.
